The bench

The people
around
the work

A house does not get transformed by one person. It gets transformed by an agent who knows the block, a lender who answers the phone, a contractor who holds the schedule and trades who care what the edges look like.

We choose who we work with deliberately and we keep working with them. Naming them here is the point: when a seller asks who is actually going to be in their house, the answer is on a page, not in a promise.

Roster

Who does what

Every name here is somebody we have chosen to work with, not an advertiser. Nobody pays to be on this page.

Why we name them

Credit is not
a courtesy

Three reasons this page exists, all of them practical.

01

A seller can check us

You can look up the people who will be handling your property, call them, and ask what working with us is actually like. Anybody unwilling to publish that list is asking you to take it on faith.

02

Good work should travel

The trades who do this properly deserve the next job to find them. If a visitor leaves this page and hires one of them directly, that is the page working, not the page failing.

03

It keeps the standard honest

Putting somebody's name next to a finished house means their reputation is in it too. That is a stronger quality control than any contract clause.

For professionals

If you work
this way too

We are not assembling a directory. The roster stays small on purpose, and it grows one person at a time.

What we look for

Somebody who answers the phone on a Tuesday afternoon, quotes what they mean, and says no to work they should not take. We would rather wait for the right trade than fill a slot.

Most of the people here came from a recommendation by somebody already on this page. That is still the best route in.

What you can expect

Scope agreed before work starts, decisions made once, and payment on the terms we agreed rather than the terms that suit the month.

What we ask

That the standard on the last house is the standard on the next one, and that problems arrive early, while they are still small and cheap.

Your property

This is the team
that would handle it.

Tell us what you have. If it is a fit we will say so quickly, and if it is not we will tell you that just as quickly.
